New outsourced loan proposition

A major Irish Bank wished to launch a Personal Loan product in the UK. A fully outsourced model was chosen and the programme was charged with directing the chosen vendors along with co-ordinating the interactions back into the Bank.

Key objectives

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for the management of outsourced providers
  • Provide UK industry knowledge and experience
  • Programme management experience across a range of internal and externally run delivery workstreams
  • Stakeholder management of all key internal stakeholders

The challenge

  • The Bank’s experience of a fully outsourced service was limited and Aledro was able to provide insight and guidance, from previous assignments, of the processes and mindsets required when working with a third party processor/Business Process Outsourcer
  • Aledro’s involvement in the programme included the provision of UK Lending and Payments SME’s, Project and Programme Management
