Outsourced migration

A three year programme to migrate and transform an outsourced processing capability.

The challenge

A banking client was using an outsourced processing platform which needed to be upgraded, necessitating a migration. Aledro were selected to support the bank throughout the supplier selection, commercial negotiations, delivery and testing phases.

The programme

The opportunity was taken to establish a competitive tender and choose the most effective long-term solution for a dynamic, customer-led business model. Aledro provided subject matter expertise and process knowledge to ensure that negotiations were effective and comparisons between suppliers were valid. The team mobilised quickly, enabling the client to adopt an enviable negotiation position, supported by critical knowledge of the vendor’s processes, systems, strategies and capabilities.

A new operating model and fully defined conversion plan was developed and engaged across the bank and all third parties.

Aledro provided full programme management support throughout the three year project, from subject matter experts through to PMO support, delivering a step change in functionality and customer-centricity, along with significantly improved cost management.
